Holistic Approach
At Windmill Wellness Ranch, we heal the whole person, bringing body, mind, and spirit back into balance, not just treating the addiction.
Healing the Whole Person
Windmill Wellness Ranch is built to heal the entire individual, not just the addiction or behavior. We treat the underlying issues that fuel it, such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health or neurocognitive concerns, while strengthening the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational health of both the individual and the family. Our goal is to help you discover your authentic, whole self and bring your entire person into balance.
Integrating Body, Mind, and Spirit
We work toward the integration of body, mind, and spirit, because the body holds valuable information about our healing. Through mindfulness, breath, and movement, we help you build somatic awareness and reconnect with your physical body, and we encourage meditation and relaxation techniques that calm the nervous system and support recovery.
Nourishing the Body to Feed the Mind
Nutrition is central to healing, because the body feeds the mind. Two on-site chefs prepare fresh, made-from-scratch entrees, and we help patients grow more aware of sugar intake while working to restore and build a healthy gut. For added physical care, a massage therapist is available weekly for an additional charge.
Healing in the Natural Setting
We use the outdoor, natural setting of the ranch to help patients reconnect with nature. Research shows that time outdoors can lift mood, sharpen cognitive function and working memory, and ease anxiety. Each morning, patients are exposed to blue light to help balance their circadian rhythm, and they can join staff-led nature hikes to explore the grounds and wildlife.
We want to help the body restore itself to its natural, authentic state to facilitate healing, recovery, health, and longevity.
“Today, I can safely become all that I am meant to be.”
